THE SCIENCE.

While chemotherapy and radiation have lengthened or even saved the lives of cancer patients over time. Radiation therapy has been used in cancer treatment for many decades; it is used to eradicate cancer and as a palliative to relieve pain associated with metastases. there is also no doubt that these two treatments come with an array of side effects including, nausea, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, hair loss, mouth sores, skin rash, fatigue, insomnia and more.

High Dose Vitamin C has been studied as a treatment for patients with cancer since the 1970’s. Alongside chemotherapy and radiation, High Dose Vitamin C has shown to keep Vitamin C levels where they should be, while counteracting the oxidative stress that cancer treatments may cause. Additional research has shown that patients who receive this combined treatment had a slower progression of their disease, and others have suggested chemotherapy's side effects were less pronounced. Vitamin C is known to have a short-life of only 2 hours in the body, which is why it must be administered in high doses.

Laboratory studies have shown that high doses of Vitamin C may slow the growth and the spread of Colon, Liver, Pancreatic, Prostate and other types of cancer cells.

Mistletoe therapy can also aid in the reduction of chemotherapy and radiation side-effects.

THE IMPORTANCE OF VITAMIN C AND GLUTATHIONE.

Powerful antioxidants, Vitamin C and Glutathione, work synergistically to offset the oxidation that naturally occurs with both cancer and the chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Vitamin C works explicitly to support white blood cell production, while Glutathione also promotes healthy detoxification. The use of these antioxidants may help protect normal cells from the increased damage and side effects caused by radiation therapy. Glutathione metabolism is able to play both protective and pathogenic roles for cancer. It is crucial in the removal and detoxification of carcinogens and can have a profound effect on cell survival.
