Rebecca LaMarca, MSN, APN-BC, Certified Nutrition Specialist -
FOUNDER
Rebecca and her staff provide tristate area clients with comprehensive naturopathic care, personalized service and individualized plan focused on both underlying causes and end results. Others view her role as that of a teacher, one who empowers and guides clients at every step of their journey.
In addition to studying for her doctorate in Naturopathic medicine, Rebecca received a certificate as a Nutrition Specialist from Cornell University. Since starting the company in July 2018, Rebecca has trained with multiple providers and gone to many conferences in the US learning and developing proper programs in NAD+ therapy for her clients with medical conditions and substance dependence, as well as training in hyperbaric ozone therapy. As she has years and substance abuse experience, Rebecca has a certificate of successful completion of training on the placement of the Neuro-Stim System Device: the BRIDGE.
Rebecca has worked with Dr. Danish, at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, treating various different cancers and brain metastasis patients. Having experience with cancer treatments and the patient populations, she loves helping and guiding those with cancer with alternative therapies such as the High-Dose Vitamin C infusions, mistletoe therapy and oils.
Rebecca was born and raised in Morris County, NJ. She comes from a family of engineers and scientists. A former Division I softball player, receiving her BSN from Villanova University in 2011 and completing her MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Monmouth University in 2016, her athletic and nurse background has allowed her to create a strong passion for health and wellness for her clients.
Dr. Shabbar Danish, MD
CO-FOUNDER
Dr. Danish was first introduced to alternative medicine in medical school. While working as a neurosurgeon, he felt there was something missing in the care he wanted to provide for his clients with pain symptoms.
Dr. Danish believes in restoring health through non-invasive therapies and various myofascial techniques, nutritional counseling, mineral and vitamin supplementation, botanical medicine and acupuncture. He uses both conventional and functional diagnostic techniques to investigate the root cause of each clients' unique set of symptoms.
Dr. Danish was born and raised in Middlesex County, NJ. He comes from a family with a long line of medical professionals. He currently works as the Chair of Neurosurgery at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. His hobbies include spending time with his wife and two children, and playing the bass in his cover band Outsourced.
Katherine Cordero
COMPLIANCE OFFICER
As a prior hospital nurse, Katherine has always felt passionate about holistic medicine. When she first began with IV Elements almost three years ago, she administered mobile IV vitamin infusions and was loved by her clients, treating many whom suffered from various cancers, autoimmune diseases and malnutrition. She is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing regulatory compliance issues within an organization.
Katherine currently lives in Morris County, NJ and is a devoted wife and loving mother of two girls. She loves to spend time with family and prior to COVID-19, she loved vacationing in the Caribbean.
Ryan Krone
ASBURY PARK OFFICE DIRECTOR
IV Elements is fortunate to have Ryan Krone as the Office Director at our Asbury Park Drip Lounge. Having years of managerial and infusion experience as a nurse, he wanted to take a mind-body-spirit-emotion approach to nursing, incorporating alternative forms of medicine along with Western medicine to help treat clients as a whole instead of specific symptoms.
Ryan currently lives in Monmouth County, NJ and loves traveling, as well as spending time with his fur babies, family and friends. For any advice on local activities or restaurants in the Asbury Park area, Ryan is the go-to guy.
Cassandra Felice
HOBOKEN OFFICE MANAGER
Cassandra came to IV Elements with a love for helping others. Her big heart is contagious not only to our clients, but to our IV Elements team. Still working as a nightshift high risk OB nurse, Cassandra has taken on the managerial position at our Hoboken Lounge, creating a strong relationship with her consistent clients who have medical conditions and require frequent infusions. Currently on her way to receive her Holistic Nurse Certification, she hopes to spread wellness to all clients who suffer with any diseases that can be eased or eliminated with vitamins.
Cassandra currently lives in Hoboken, NJ and loves trying new restaurants, while also spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include art, working out, traveling, and helping small local businesses that have, and are still suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Carissa Buckalew
HOLISTIC HEALTH COACH
Carissa has been an infusion nurse with IV Elements since the beginning, coming into the company with years of acute care hospital experience. With her educational background and passion for holistic health, she soon created and empowered the coach position for IV Elements. Prior to pursuing a nursing degree, Carissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and minor in Holistic Health.
Carissa became fascinated with the power behind holistic and natural treatments after realizing how powerful this approach to healthcare can be. She is excited to be part of a team that puts the client first, ensuring they feel empowered on their personal journey to great health.
In her spare time, Carissa likes to spend time outside, whether it’s at the beach, going for a bike ride, or being with her friends and family. She enjoys being a part of the Asbury Park community and developing new client relationships through IV Elements.
Kelsey Peck
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Having years of operational experience in both the healthcare and beauty industry, Kelsey brings organization, new ideas and digital advancements to IV Elements every day. She is excited to service clients in need of vitamin therapy treatments while growing the business. Kelsey has found increased energy and focus turning to holistic and alternative services. As a result, she has a passion for health and wellness and loves connecting and surrounding herself with like-minded people.
Kelsey currently lives in Ocean County, NJ. Kelsey loves spending time with family and friends. In her spare time, you’ll find her enjoying the outdoors either on local trails, walking the beach or relaxing poolside.
Jaclyn Gershman, BSN, RN - ASBURY PARK INFUSION NURSE
After four years of hospital nursing, Jaclyn came to IV Elements with a desire to help people in a holistic setting. Jaclyn’s mother has chronic neuro Lyme and has received holistic treatments identical to IV Elements. After years of failed IV antibiotics, holistic infusions finally put her mother into remission. Her mother’s experience opened her eyes to holistic treatments. Jaclyn has experience with critical care, ER, and pediatrics.
IV Elements is fortunate to have Jaclyn part of the team as she brings much joy to the clients as well as the other nurses and the company.
Jaclyn resides in Howell, NJ with her husband and two toddlers who are always keeping her busy.
Zelina Fajardo, BSN, RN -
HOBOKEN INFUSION NURSE
Zelina has worked in several areas in healthcare throughout the years such as long-term and subacute rehab, behavioral health, and ER. She’s also done a medical mission in Costa Rica to provide care for disabled and geriatric patients. Despite moving around in different areas, she has found joy working with IV Elements because of our holistic approach to caring for people in a different way outside of the hospital setting.
Zelina has earned two degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has plans on furthering her education and skillsets in the near future.
Zelina currently lives in Jersey City, NJ and loves to travel, workout, check out new restaurants, and of course, spend time with family, friends, and her pets!
